I have had some bad experiences with blenders in my day. I won’t name any companies, but let’s just say I have had three blender’s before I bought a Ninja, and I thought I was out of luck. However, one day I read a Ninja smoothie maker review online and I decided I had nothing to lose, especially since it was so moderately priced.
My first impression of the Ninja was that it was relatively compact yet stylish. It can fit almost anywhere on your kitchen counter and doesn’t look out of place. I actually think that my Ninja goes quite well with my granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances, so it has great visual appeal.
When it comes to performance, I must say for the price you can’t beat a Ninja blender or smoothie maker. My blender has 1,500 watts and 2.5 horsepower with the ability to go from 3,700 to 24,000 rpm, which is quite powerful. It makes short work of any plant that I put in it: pineapple, squash, melon, apples, or carrots. When it comes to a blender, it’s all about performance, and Ninja has that it spades. It is far less expensive than other brands such as Vitamix and Blendtec but offers the same power and versatility.
As far as cleaning goes, I hate doing it, which is another reason why I love my Ninja blender. My past blenders had numerous parts, such as the pitcher rubber seal, lid components, and blade attachments. This was a huge deterrent in using the blenders because each one of these parts had to be cleaned separately. Also, it seemed like it was just a matter of time before a piece of my blender would go missing, only to show up some weeks later.
The Ninja is totally different, it has attached blades with very exact cleaning instructions. Rinsing just takes a minute, and I can read a book, watch TV, or carry on with my normal life while it is drying.
I didn’t end up using the two-year warranty with my Ninja, but it did give me peace of mind. I also appreciated Ninja’s website, which is very user-friendly and easy to navigate. Ninja’s website has a parts replacement section which is also great, in case something does eventually break on my valued smoothie machine.
With everything being said I don’t think I will be buying any other brand of blender any time soon. I really enjoy my Ninja smoothie machine and I don’t see why I should ever need to purchase a more expensive brand. The Ninja is a great one-in-all solution to your blending and smoothie needs. I use my Ninja for all kinds of things, making many of my other appliances obsolete. My Ninja is a food processor, grain mill, hand mixer, and meat grinder all rolled into one appliance. I love making dinner for guests and family and trying new recipes: they all think I’m a professional chef! Five out of Five stars.
